To close the gap between our young Brothers in Christ and our Older Brothers in Christ by, developing a relationship with them and helping the young brothers understand their importance in God’s kingdom and to cont. to encourage them to participate in all functions at the congregation. Also bring to mind to the older brothers one of their duties is to nurture and help the younger brothers develop his spiritual gifts, following the principles found in Titus 2.
OBJECTIVE:
To help our young brothers in Christ to become strong Spiritual mind, GOD fearing men, along With helping them develop their intellect and social skills that will help them become a valuable asset to the community.
To create an atmosphere of promoting spiritual growth through teaching, fellowship and mentoring. To provide wholesome recreational and information that will promote spiritual maturity and a foundational framework for their lives. We plan to offer:
· Engagement youth in Bible Study and Worship
· Tutoring for academic excellence
· Recognition for graduation, sports and other achievements
· Engagement of parents
· Local and regional spiritual and recreational events
To assist in the fulfillment of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ by utilizing the various methods of technology available. Eph 4:12…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (NIV)
Ministry Responsibilities and Tasks:
To capture through photography, audio and video recording of the various events and Worship Services; to provide media services and support to the various ministries; to invest in the God-given vision of Centreville ministries; to assist in fulfilling the main Spiritual foundation mission of the church; to maintain and update the various methods of media used for communication and the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to develop a caring community of women devoted to Christ, through:
· Real relationships – Significant and deepening with one another
· Wide spread Spiritual encouragement and growth
· Meeting needs in all seasons of lives and of those in our community and the Sisterhood.
Our mission is to help our member, families and community achieve greater health and wellness through encouragement, education and events aimed at caring for the physical body given by God as the dwelling place of His Holy Spirit. Our plan includes:
· Providing educational resources on health lifestyle including nutrition, exercise and stress management.
· Assisting in identifying disease risk factors as a means of prevention
· Making screenings available and helping with referrals
· Education on health services
· Administering first aide during church activities
Our mission is to create strong families to make a strong church. This will include pre marriage and marriage counseling to prevent and reduce Christian divorce. We will address Parenting skills to improve relationships in the family unit. We will offer Divorce recovery assistance for families that encounter divorce. Our plan also includes:
· Annual lessons, Retreats and Celebrations on marriage
· Bible classes on marriage and relationships
· Workshops on dealing with conflict and improving family communications
· We will offer mentoring to match younger couples with older couples
· Financial training for families
Purpose of small groups and benefit is to improve keeping and growing members after conversion. New Christians who participate in small groups are more likely to remain faithful. Members are more likely to share when they are being tempted, struggling, & attacked by Satan. Members are more likely to be noticed when missing. Address challenge of members today seems to be very busy with work, kids, etc.
The purpose of the Centreville Mass Chorus (CMC) is to edify and build up one another in love in the Lord’s church and serve as an outreach to the community
